Does an honest error deserve a second chance?

Living in this complex world, struggling through the life, sometimes people tend to forget their right ways. They lost their way and start to walk on a path which is not justified under the legal laws. We are humans and it is said to err is human. I would not always complete the sentence with the remaining phrase that is to forgive is divine but certainly would favor that thought of at least giving a second chance to rectify the prior mistakes. The same philosophy is accepted by the Sheps and associates attorneys. They bring human aspect into the firms practice.
Every person has its own share of weakness and strength. Sometimes due to some reasons, the weakness overshadows the personal strength and a human commits mistake. But just one time mistake makes the person criminal. It totally depends on how much the person is ready to bring the change and is committed to follow the right path. Sheps and associates attorneys can help you out in the legal process. But that does not means that they want to defend criminals. They support the fact of being human. They believe that if a wrong is done unknowingly or in wrong circumstances then the person deserves a second chance. An honest error deserves a second opportunity from where an individual will start to a new life.
Sheps and associates attorneys might have received questions from the people eager to know that why lawyers defend criminals? But they don’t defend criminals. They defend the person who is found guilty at some aspect and at least needs a chance to explain the stance and the conditions which led the wrong happen. Even the legal system allows the person to present the case. Prior to the presentation of facts in court, it is misleading to say that a defendant is obviously guilty. And no one can per-decide the reason behind the incident. Therefore if an honest error is made, it should be seen and investigated openly in the eyes of law.
You should not be too harsh with someone who makes a mistake, because all human beings make mistakes. It is not very easy to do it because everything has to be evaluated in the eyes of law. But at least efforts can be made in the right direction so that an honest error does not change in the serious crimes in the future.
